The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855. The 1/12 Skilling had a short life, but was produced in fairly large quantities, about 1-3 million per year issued.
1802-1808![]() The smallest of the early coins, one twelfth of a skilling, struck in copper. Diameter 20.5 mm, weight 2.4 grams. On the obverse is a stylized "G IV A", for King Gustav IV Adolf. 1812![]() King Carl XIII, triple crown moved to reverse, arrows removed. 1825![]() King Carl XIV Johan. Exists with plain or reeded edge.
