The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855. The 1/2 skilling coin was produced in fairly large quantities, about 2 million per year.

1799-1802


One half of a skilling, struck in copper. Diameter 29.5 mm, weight 8.5 grams.

1802-1809


On the obverse is a stylized "G IV A", for King Gustav IV Adolf.

1815-1817
