The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855.

On the obverse is a stylized "G IV A", for King Gustav IV Adolf. 1812-1817![]() King Carl XIII, legend added to obverse. 1819-1830![]() King Carl XIV Johan. 1832![]() Bust of King Carl XIV Johan. Arrows replaced by triple crown on reverse. Diameter 30 mm. 1835-1843![]() New reverse design, "skilling banco". Diameter 27.8 mm, weight 11.3 grams. 1844-1845![]() King Oscar. 1847-1855![]() Redesigned portrait, slightly smaller.
