The currency reform of 1798 introduced the Skilling, for which 48 equaled 1 Riksdaler. The Skilling changed to the Skilling Banco in 1835, and was retired in 1855. The 4 skilling coin was very short-lived, produced in fairly small quantities after an initial near 500,000.
